2 game show hosts posing in front of game room boardHow does it work?

The Virtual Game Show Room gives you the opportunity to try our exciting live game show without leaving your home. We bring you and your friends, families or co-workers an exhilarating experience of getting together without violating the social distancing principles. We will have a live host who will take you through several fun and exciting games as you try to beat the other players in some friendly competition.

What do you need to play the game?

To play the game, you will need to have a PC or laptop with video conferencing software like Zoom with a camera and microphone and a great internet connection. In addition, you will need to download our app from the app store onto a mobile/tablet device which will be used to input your answers while playing the different games.

What kind of internet do I need to play?

The faster the better? With a connection that allows uninterrupted video chatting, the game will also run smoothly. Due to the high data traffic, it is worth connecting through wi-fi rather than mobile internet.

I don’t have a webcam. Can I play without it?

Yes. Your own webcam is only there to broadcast you to the other players during the game. It’s easier to communicate with it, but you can enjoy the game without it.

Do I need to install any software for the game?

Yes, before the game, you would need to install the Game Show Virtual app. Don’t worry; it’s a free program available on the Apple App store as well as Android Marketplace. Other than that, you don’t need to install anything else.

How many people do I need to make a reservation?

Our games are designed so that a minimum of four (4) players is required in a game. But why stop there?  You can have a total of twelve (12) players per game, so why not include more friends, family or co-workers? Remember, this a virtual game, so your participants can be from across the world!

Is there an age requirement?

The recommended minimum player age is 7 years old.  The beauty is that our games can be adjusted to any age level to ensure the maximum amount of fun and competition.

Do I need to make a reservation?

Yes, an advance reservation is required to book a virtual game show room. You can make reservations online and reservations must be made at least 48 hours in advance.

How early should we arrive for our reservation?

All game-playing guests should log in at least 5 minutes before your start time.  This gives your Game Show Host time to review the rules and answer any questions you may have before the games begin.

How much time do I need to do this?

The Virtual Game Show Room experience takes one (1) hour.

Is there a prize handed out at the end?

Bragging rights are your main prize – especially if your team manages to make the Virtual Game Show Room Leader Board, which broadcasts top-scoring teams who achieve the highest possible scores in each game.  Overall, we’re certain you’ll have long-lasting memories of your time as a contestant in our live Game Show Room!

When do I need to pay?

All Virtual Game Show Rooms must be paid in full at the time they are booked or reserved.

What is your cancellation policy?

Our company does not accommodate refunds once game show rooms are reserved and paid for. However, we will do our very best to reschedule your booking based on the availability of rooms.

Can I choose my own set of games to play?

As with most professional game shows, the experience is pre-designed, but with you in mind.  Our game show designers have developed an awesome game show lineup for you – ensuring the games have a good mix of hands-on and mentally challenging activities. All you have to do is show up ready to play, and our professional Virtual Game Show Room Hosts will guide you through each game to ensure your satisfaction!

Teams? Free-for-All? How does that work?

Your event can be run one of two ways: Teams or Free-for-All. Once that is set, the games can get started.

In Free-for-All, it is each player for themselves.  All points scored go to just that player. This can be played with any number, from 4 to 12, and makes for fun competition to the very end where one will emerge victorious.

In Team play, you will tell the host how your group will be divided and those two teams will face off, working their way through the games together, adding individual’s points to help claim the win.

Is there a dress code?

You don’t have to show up in formal attire, but we won’t turn you away if you do! We suggest our contestants wear comfortable clothing that will allow them to move freely during the games. For everyone’s enjoyment, we ask that players avoid wearing clothing which displays offensive/inappropriate language.
